29 June 2017
The Restriction Order issued against Abdul Majid s/o Kunji Mohamad.
The Restriction Order (RO) issued against Abdul Majid s/o Kunji Mohamad, who was a member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), a militant group based in southern Philippines, was allowed to lapse in Jun 2017. Abdul Majid, who was detained under the ISA in Jun 2011, had undergone military training at the MILF's Camp Abu Bakar in Mindanao, and aided the MILF in procuring funds and weapons components. He was released from detention and issued with a RO on 17 Jun 2013. While on RO, he was cooperative and responsive to rehabilitation efforts. As such, he no longer requires RO supervision.
